What an absolutely great cover that would make for a Philip Marlowe book.

“A woman will lie about anything, just to stay in practice."

That photo is a mind-blower, as is your book.

What a terrific photo! And, as the possessor of a copy of your book, I can say that it makes a perfect gift.

I really meant it when I told you how much this moves me. My dad was born in Fullerton CA in 1918. He was a competitive diver in the late 30s and did exhibition diving all over Hollywood. He was slated for the Olympics but Ww2 changed all that i did love stories of him diving off the aircraft carrier when he was in the army Air Corps. He finally got to be an Olympic Ambassador in 1964. -- the year I was born.

My whole youth revolved around swimming and diving, and stories of my father's roots in LA's golden age. This photo is so very special to me. Thanks, k. It just really hits a spot inside .
