So beautiful.

It's been a while since I've been to your blog. You do such great things with light even with such a simple subject.

They remind me of Tibetan prayer flags.

I was going to say exactly what Paula said, but she said it first, so I can only second that emotion...

It's beautiful in your distinct way, Kevin. It's as though the fence is dirty, and then the sky is dirty, too.

i was wondering how to make a fence majestic, stoic, abandoned and sad. Leave it to the K man to shoe us how.

Must admit, I needed help on this one. Which I got from Jean. Really, I emailed her, and we discussed.

Sinister sky, rusty fence, the imperfections are what make it interesting.

Now I"m going to go with this one without KM.
Damn K, the light is so right and I love that angle of the fence, and yes, prayer flags.( thanks P)

Timing is everything. Ten minutes earlier or ten minutes later and this shot would not have been nearly as beautiful because of the changing light in the sky. As it is, it is perfect.

Yes, slightly unusual angle and unusual sky create an impact--from the ordinary. Nice.
