Someone's been roaming around Hollywood Forever. You know, those were designed for the outside courtyard behind there that never got finished.

I know this sounds weird, but this picture makes me want to go there and explore.

Your pictures make me sigh and your poems make me laugh. Happy Easter K!

It's still not as creepy as that house in the Valley...

I love the old Hollywood Memorial cemetery. Valentino is in one of those doors. (I can't bring myself to call it Hollywood FOrever.)

I shot a 16mm film here back in the 90s.

& around the corner from Valentino is the crypt of William Desmond Taylor (but you have to remember his real name which is on the plaque).

Without even reading the wiki, I seem to recall a book re: WDT. He was murdered, I believe. And I think King Vidor wrote the book.

There's something so homey about the place.

Look out, K. Petrea has stolen my Queen of Kevin McCollister Fan Club crown... (Check out her blog today.)

I too have laughed at your poems on AH's blog, and now I'm sighing over your photos. I'm glad Petrea sent us over here.

Well Laurie, I guess that makes me the Grande Dame of the K Fan Club, oui?

Not knowing where you took it let me talk about the photo. It's superb and we all know it but what I love most are those three different light's sources. From left, from the the open doors, From right. Three different colours for a piece of art
